2016 Wood Show Challenge30th August 2016

The Wood Show Challenge is an annual state-wide competition held for students in year 9 & 10. Developed by the Institute of Industrial Arts Technology Education (IIATE), the competition provides students with the opportunity to develop project management skills, teamwork and develop their practical skills whilst addressing the outcomes of the NSW Industrial Technology syllabus. 

How it works;

** Competing schools much be financial members of the iiate for 2016 **

Step 1- Nominate a team of year 9 and/ or year 10 students to participate 
Step 2- Register your team in the form below (by May 6 2016)
Step 4- Wood Show Challenge Coordinator allocates regional competitions and where they take place by May 9. 
Step 5- Regional heats take place within the following 5 week period, regional results to be submitted by 10 June 2016.
 Step 6- Regional winners are invited to compete in the state final at the Sydney Timber and Working With Wood Show.
